أعلن “علي حمود ” وزير النقل السوري أن عدد السوريين الذين تم إجلاؤهم حتى الآن وصل إلى 1200 مواطن ومن المتوقع أن يصل العدد إلى 10000 .
وأشار الوزير إلى أن خطة الإجلاء تتضمن تسيير رحلات خاصة وبشكل يومي حتى منتصف الشهر الجاري حيث سيتم بالتنسيق مع وزارات الخارجية والداخلية والصحة والإدارة المحلية التخطيط لرحلات أخرى في وقت لاحق .
ونوه حمود إلى أن عملية إجلاء السوريين من بلدان الاتحاد الأوروبي لن تكون سهلة وذلك بسبب عقوبات الاتحاد المفروضة على سوريا والتي تمنع طائرات الشركات السورية من الهبوط في مطاراتها .
وذكرت وكالة أوقات الشام أن الخطة البديلة لنقل السوريين من دول الاتحاد الأوربي هي أن يتم إبلاغ المغتربين بالانتقال إلى دول تسمح للطيران السوري بالوصول إليها .
